This well made italian camo cover for gas mask tin, seen in Museum in Mont Ormel (near Falaise), Normandy last week. Never seen anything like it. I assume its W-SS?

It appeared to be almost quilted and at least double thickness. Very practical for sound suppression
as well as camouflage and antireflective
