        I think every canteen was delivered with a D-Ring... years ago i had a hoard of hundreds unissued canteen straps, different makers btw, an they all had a D-Ring loop attached!

                Very nice canteens Now I'm happy because I've discovered I've also got some DAK canteens. By the way, it's nice to see those light brown cartridge pouches (blue squares)
