    Ciao a tutti

    Many people (too much) continues to define DAK the type coconut canteens. I Hope this picture "is final" and stop giving wrong information.

            But people will still continue buy the coconut one for their AK displays

                        I'm pretty sure that all 1L canteen was issued with D-Ring, but it's just impossible to demonstrate because, as always when we tolking about canteens, there are no wartime documents or similar things

                              I am sorry my friend, but close inspection of your photo reveals that the fly visible on the soldier's face is of the genus Diphtera Hippoboscoiadea Sovietis. This genus has run exctinct since 1967, but used to be found only in south western russia and eastern Ukrain from April to September.
                              So the canteen and photo do not qualify as DAK.
