Boots - private purchased?

Hello my friends.

Boots are not my field but I have a interesting pair here. These have been stored in box for many years, there is even a spider web still inside one of the boots hehe

These boots where brought to Iceland before the ww2. Owner of these boots was a member of Icelandic NS party that was active from 1932 to 1938 I think.
It came with big loot that was found 3 years ago with other extremely rare items such as armbands (in blue, white & red color), propaganda papers, id card, pictures, medals, pins, flags & etc. All too one man who kept it all this years.

So I´m wondering what type of boots that is? Is it ww1 type? private purchased knobelbecher?
I have been doing a search here on WAF with "Knobelbecher" and I have not seen this square types under the soles before. All info is helpful, thank you.

I have been looking at old boots threads and doing some search on internet. I can´t see any good info web page about german boots (like helmet pages) that can help me.

I think I´m looking at private purchase boots that hobnails have been period put on by local shoes carpenter outside Germany

The boots you posted seem to be private purchased officer's or Party official's boots but I don't think for the German Wehrmacht.Maybe they are period but not German.As about "knobelbecher" or German issued combat boots for EM/NCO's,they are definitely not.Here some examples of knobelbecher

Private OFF "riding" boots . Who knows when the nails were added,
after 70 years of existence ?
Never seen such nails on boots before , even on other nations boots ?

The Icelandic national party had not so many members. After the Brithis invaded Iceland in Mai 1940, all party members throw there stuff to garbage or burned it. They didn´t want to go to jail.

That is the only boots from that time that is exist today. That makes it little special.

All stuff from that time are extremely rare today and only known items that is from one man who keept it in box at his house for past 70 years are for sale at local shop here in Reykjavik. If anyone is looking for item from that period time, I can easily contact the shop owner. I have picture of the loot, but only through PM.

Private purchase in terms of: "have to pay your own boots". Otherwise, factory made boots.
