Tropical canteen. Good one? Value?

I want to put this For sale on the estand, but I have it For more than 20 years and I don't know if it is a good one and what a reasonable asking price is.

if you can show me a picture of tropical soldiers wearing these, then we might consider to call them also tropical canteens ;-)

By the way: dealers do not know everything. In fact most just repeat the same wrong "facts" they read in militaria books of the 80'ies or heard on the internet. But hey, why not? Afrika Korps or "tropical" surely sells items a lot faster... :-D

Price without the cup, for me not more than 35-40 €

Agreed...not "tropical". Here's the only photo I've ever seen of DAK soldiers + a coconut canteen. It was taken on a prisoner train, in America, 1943.
