Difficult to know which section to put this in but I would appreciate your opinions on this SS plate by Bauscher Weaden. There appears to be a grit in the glaze which may be a manufacturing fault

Is the mark under the glaze ?? 1st impression is its not a good one

Doesn't look like any original I've ever seen....The SS runes are off kilter and the transfer/decal is finely executed.....I'd pass myself.....Bodes

Lanners, this was not on UK ebay was it ? I have seen some clown trying to sell some junk like this as original recently

Thanks gentlemen, I appreciate all your input. It turned up for next to nothing in a West Country auction but of course that means nothing. As far as I can tell the markings are beneath the glaze.
