Got this today.
No stamps, iron, 2 shades of Field grey sprayed ouside (the darker "early" and a stripe of "late" olive), inside light grey-green, "late" but unusual mount for the hanger!

The lower lighter paint work could be caused by it having stood in very Hot Water Genosse, I have had this happen to my Red Army Reconstructor Mess tins in the past when I have washed them before or after a gig. It happens. Only wash stuff precious stuff in barely warm water ( if you must ) .I have learnt and paid for in Blood.

Reconstructor gear is Ok to be so treated as and when, it has to work for a living.

No, it a layer of paint, you can see the dark green under the Olive! And it`s the typical green of some later war mk`s!
