New Y-strap need help on identifying maker

    Hello all

As the title of the post already I would very appreciate I anyone could help me with the markings on the buckles.

What have I to see in the stange icon that looks to me like a pair of glases...?

It is marked 41 and I can also see a name written on the center circular piece of leather.

Any comments are more than welcome

        Hi

The maker of the Y straps, and the maker of the buckles are 2 different things....

I have seen this mark on the buckles before.... isn't it an A through 2 C's (if you look at it upside down ?)

Anyway, you haven't shown us pictures of the the maker mark on the Y strap, so we can't help you there !

          Hello Tom

Thanks for your reply. You have a point, it could be as stated an "A through 2 C's" but this still leaves me with the question if is already known who actually manufactured them.... ? The buckle of the long end strap has the same "a through 2 C's but this is nearly visible and impossible (to me) to photograph. The only visible markings I could find are the ones can be seen on the pictures. I can make up " 41 " clearly but there seems to be an letter or something right on top of that ?

It is not of "life importance" to know who made it or so...

I thought it just would be fun to identify and know who made it

              Looking once again to it maybe it could also be an " C - H - Q " ?

The manufacturer mark is on the leather, is unfortunately illegible and therefore it is not possible to identify the maker of these straps.

The manufacturer markings on the buckles are simply those of the company that manufactured this hardware. This maker probably supplied hardware to a number of manufacturers. I do not believe that the name of the hardware manufacturer using this mark is known.
