Combat assault pack a-frame bag

Is the fact that this bag cames
without the usual holes a problem ?
(see pictures below of another model)
When may have been the bag beyond produced ??

Looks like a simplified version .. split up the string - good solution

I have never seen an A-frame bag with these features (which of course doesn't mean anything !)

Got 6 bags in my collection , but none of them looks like this...

Points that are different :

- rounded hooks on the flap
- leather straps not pointed
- strange buttons on the side

and ofcourse the missing eyelets.......

I don't know what to think of this one

very nice piece. maker variant or ecconomy late war, imo. but....id suppose late war these aframe bags were redundant, and ceased being made, replaced by sturmpack 44, its bigger cousin. a theory, no more.
