btw, it could be that middle strap is added (later?), also look at the inside strap... riveted, as I have not seen before...

nicely used example. internal backing to front fobs look like old internal carrying hook straps for early tunics. typical obsolete scraps, recycled for kit assembly. metal stud fastener to internal central closure strap is unusual.

It wasn't repaired ; it was made like than with this riveting. I had in past indeticaly riveted, mint M44 breadbag, so definately not repaired but production variation.
