    Hi Everyone,

    Could someone perhaps helps me with the stamps on the inside of a strap on this canteen. The canteen is fulle stamped H.W.S.D. 38

          Fl. H. Kdtr - Flieger Horst Kommandantur Jever ?? (nowadays a Nato Fliegerhorst)

            Thanks alot Tom, now I just have to figure out what the Jever stands for. Normally there should be a number after the Kdtr. according to the lexicon der wehrmacht.

              Jever is a place in Germany (near Wilhelmshaven)

              If you search on google maps, you will find the Fliegerhorst still exists (as a NATO base)
