Late war setup

I used to own around 30 maybe 40 Czechoslovakian made covers (examples pictured came from me too). I've purchased them from Belarusian surpuls stocks few years ago. IMHO were stored as war time reserve for Soviet army, which also use pointed shovels (during the WW2 they also used captured pointed shovels)
These are always marked with lion stamp and 1936 - 1938 dated. Indeed well made

Yes, they were, since very beggining to the bitter end:

So the ones on the last 2 pictures (from the book and from you) are both czech ??

Or (if I read correctly) : 1st one is austrian, 2nd austrian / czech.....

Yes, example form the book is Austrian,WW1 issue textbook entrenching tool cover.

These two pictured by me are Czechoslovakian issue, with lion stamps dated 1936.

To make my opinions more luminous (most times I write and talk with someone about something else)

These from Tom picture (post #12, first attachment:- from left to right)

1. Contrary to Tom's opinion it is Polish POSTWAR cover with (probably... counting rivets)pre war Polish spade.

2. Austrian cover and tool (see first attachment from my post #20)

3. Czechoslovakian cover, tool made in Austria.

4. Czechoslovakian cover, tool made in Austria.
