Question about A-frame with alu parts.

    Hello gentlemen,
I own this one since long time and I would like to know if it's a early A-
+ frame because the alu parts on it.
The only date I've found is marked on one of the leather straps for the Zelt,it's 1939.

            Nice original one !!!

They are pretty difficult to find !!

            Here one of my 39'ers

The upper left are my 2 39 a-frames, as you can see, the upper middle also has the straps "upside-down"

and my third 39 dated A-frame (which has fake straps added )

                Thanks Guys.
I've bought that one in 1994 in Spa (Belgium-Ardennes-F1 circuit) in the shop of the old english guy who own that shop since longtime.

Your a frame have very interesting construction, top straps with hooks are sewn different way to frame, also ends of the lower band are finished not by hiding both ends under narrow band.

so I think it is earlier than Tom's frames maybe some experimental or first version for field tests.

Mine has the same features...... (it's the middle one on the collection of A-frames picture)

Only mine has steel (D&C) hooks, rest is aluminium

Maker variant?, early version?, who knows.....

                    here some pictures
