    Wehrmacht spaten ?

Hello, i find this shovel, for me is early Wehrmacht, but repainted for re use by French Army post war (they make this with many shovels, french, german, russians). What do you think about it ?
    Than you.

I think this pattern of shovel could perhaps have been used by Wehrmacht soldiers but it is not one of the typical issue Wehrmacht types and with no markings it may be impossible to say what for what army this was originally made.

I tend to agree with you IR I wonder if that is one with the Wolf head maker logo under that green paint right side bottom of blade it kinds of looks like it being painted French army green it would rule out the Polish postwar theory of them and more sound bet German made one. Probably pre war. I had one like it from the Norweign army painted Norweign green and used by Norway after the war left behind by the Germans . timothy
