    A Frame - another fake?

I feel this is not an original - can you guys confirm?
(Top strap is not an A-Frame strap).

This is similar to other fakes that have been discussed - webbing, etc.

Thanks Tom. Does anyone know who is pumping out these fakes? (This one came from Sweden).

This seems a good quality copy.
I would like to know from what you see that is a copy.
          Thanks

            Hi Daniele,
I think most of us are referring to the cross straps and the top strap that holds them on. The webbing quality is not good - too lightweight and incorrectly woven. I think Grubhy has also pointed out on previous posts that real ones don't have the small piece of webbing fabric at the bottom center on BOTH sides - only the front side. All the fakes I see now have missed this detail.

There are several manufacturers here in Czech. Theese are/were produced mainly for reenactment (I´m using very similar one also) and - of course- some of them are also after propper treatment in reenactment battlefields offered as originals.
Speaking of authenticity, what do you think about this one? It´s being offered in local auction portal as "item with no warranty". I´d assume fake also, but I´m not so experienced. I can only tell that this one is not made of czech webbing.

This one has a very good chance of being a good one !
I like it so far !
Nice maker mark of Franz Brehme Walsrode and I think that I can
see the use of blue thread that I have seen before by this maker.

                  Regards
