        Well, its always the expensive EQ that comes mint for sale, with bad stiching and no markings.

        But no worries, when the alarm is out these will come with markings too, you can buy all sorts of Waa stamps right now.

        Either these are made to the guys that hunt mosquitos in the woods pretending to be german ww2 soldiers or just made as fakes for profit, either way, they end up on collectors market.

        We EQ collectors have been pretty ignored by the fakers cos our stuff was resonablie cheap...but when people pay 200-300E for a cover or 250 E for a Ystrap then profit on fakes can be made.

        It will only get worse.

        Some will disaggre, and i respect that...

          Just the same covers were found in Belarus on excavation. There also there are no squeezed-out maker marks.

                One looker shovel cover. It takes some time to learn and separate mint from fake. Like with this P35(p) holster, made in 1945 and purchased by me as "reproduction":
