Yes , Marine straps. Never seen them with these hooks though. Probably taken from a tornister.

Why should this be a marine Y-strap because of the letter M?? I see no swastika or a eagle above the letter M, so i think it has nothing to do with the Kriegsmarine at all

Glaser no i don't have seen a 1934 dated eagle with swastika as well but i have no idea when this symbol exactly was released?? but you are a real expert so tell me,....... But i think it goes too far to relate a letter M for Km because i see no Weimar eagle at all,....what's your opinion,...????
