My new "Hälftengleiche Feldtrage mit 2 Gurten"

Hey guys

I was lucky to buy this one for almost nothing ( the guy had three )

It was a "Dachbodenfund" in a place that used to be a Krankenstelle in the Northern part of Germany near Wilhelmshafen

The stretcher is dated 1938 and has alu rings, and what's even better, it comes with the carying belts !!!

the straps are exactly the same color as the straps on the underside of the stretcher.... so I believe these sets belong together from the start

Also the hempf ropes still have the aluminium reinforcemenst at the end of the rope

Wow, that is a very nice rig you have there. Given the massive casualty rates in the German military and amongst civilians I bet many items like this ended up in a terrible condition. Your stretcher must be unusual still being complete and in such great condition.

Makes you wonder how many people lived their last hours or minutes on an item like this.
