Luftwaffe desk 1940

Hi,

My friend and I came across this desk with a luftwaffe stamp on it a few weeks ago.
We like to sell it now but we do not know anything about it, maybe you guy's can tell us if it was just for officers? or was this someting that every men get in a luftwaffe headquarters/administration building? It doesn't look like many soldiers had one of these, because it is a bid heavy to carry on in a warzone
