Pressed stoff tan second model shovel carrier?

Hello, I'd like to ask If there is any evidence of the production of the second model of the shovel carrier in pressed stoff material and tan colour.

Best regards and thanks in advance

I believe you are talking about the folding shovel.....

There are a lot of fake tan carriers (2nd model) around, and to be honest, I have never seen an original 2nd type tan ersatzlleder carrier. This of course does not mean there never existed one.....

here some pictures of such a FAKE carrier !!

They exist but are very rare, I only know 4 examples in collection.

Mathieu, would it be possible to see one of those in a (not too) clear picture (as not to show too much info for fakers out there.....) ??

That would be really terrific !

                  Cheers

Daniel, just for the sake of knowledge, the ersatzleder material is known as presstoff and not "pressed stoff".

Otherwise, good question and followup discussion.

If you have anything at all in your collection then you're more of a collector than I am.

I know very little about collecting but I do so enjoy visiting this forum. I would love to be a collector but don't have enough disposable income to play the game. And I certainly don't have enough to be able to afford any purchasing mistakes. And that's one of the first things I learned here....it's all too easy to get fooled.

                              Best wishes!
