Got a new rucksack but do not know if it is german or ww2 for that matter. Can not find any stamps. I have looked at the rucksack variety thread. Could it be Tauern sack no. 17?

This one looks like civilian issue. During the war could be of course used by military, especially mountain troops officers. If You need military one, look for green with RB Number or wartime dated. -
