re gebirsj rucksack-buckle on front lower pouch has a metal roller (if this is the right word), and the metal altogether seems very chrome-y. the ruck looks kosher, but these rollered buckles look paramilitary/political/post war. what are your thoughts? a replacement item perhaps?

Thanks v much for pics.
Not seen double (non chrome or otherwise) buckle stays on gb rucks before. Not sure if such stays are widely used on heer kit or not. A thread in itself, perhaps.
