Help me with this Gas mask please

Hi Guys,

I will like you to take a look of this mask! I will like to heard you opinions! For me is a nice and original gas mask! and COMPLETE!!!

What I am not really sure is the model! Can you help me with that?

Hi

Looks like a short gasmask cannister from 1940 (at least it was inspected 1940) The cannister itself is probably earlier - check the lid on the Klarscheiben, probably the maker mark and date are stamped there.

It is missing the short strap with hook to fix the cannister to the belt

The mask itself is a GM30 with a blue snout as far as I can tell, so probably 43 / 44 ?? (check the snout for a date)
The eyepieces are not blue (??) so they are prpbably replaced at some time

The Filter is a FE37 as far as I can tell from here but it should be stamped

It is most likely the the mask and the cannister don't belong together (what I mean is that it was not a set initially)

Furthermore the spring and cleaning cloth are there (these are often missing)
