Please help with gas mask info and value

Hi guys, I'm a german helmet fan and have been offered a genuine El Alamein pick-up with full veteran info about the aussie digger who souvenired them of a german helmet and gas mask canister and gas mask. The helmet I know about (it's wonderful) and the gas mask and canister I know nothing about so I have come here for help. I have taken many pics at the veterans home and would like to know as much about it as possible and an estimate of value as both are available for sale. Gas mask filter piece at bottom dated 1940, case seems dated 1937 but there are lots of stamps and things so I have photographed it as best I can. Rubber is super supple and it has sat in a bag in a wardrobe for 30 years and opened once in that time - today! Can someone lmk what these are worth in this condition please?
    Thanks guys in advance

    Marcus

A rusty and damaged gasmask. Closing mechanism on the container is missing, eye glasses badly damaged from moisture.
Good thing is the straps seem to be complete.

For me not worth more than any other gasmask that sells for 40-50 Euro in a similar condition on eBay.

Value for this set around $80-$100 in my opinion. The straps alone are worth $50.
