    Ciao Giancarlo

"von Canstein" ist the Name of an old aristocratic family in nothern germany, their roots are back in the 12th century.

There was a Ulrich Freiherr von Canstein in the Wehrmacht, a KC bearer, and Oberst Raban von Canstein.

Thanks dear Dirk, but my question is another one. I'd like to know if the label is war time (as I think) or postwar BW. Let me know, please.
      This MAG could be amazing.....

It doesn't look like standard to me. I could be privately printed, so difficult to say if period...Is the rest of the lot consistent?

As you can see, the entirely set is in VG to TOP condition, just wear some minor use. The same name is also writed inside.
Thinking about who was the owner (von...)I think that the weirdness could be all explain with hes high rank and social status. For me here is all ok.

I think it could be a standard label allright, but folded more so the black diamond outline isn't visible anymore....

Has to do with the width of the gasmask strap

                Nice set btw

Well, at last I can consider this one like a jewel, a mag of a decorated with RK is not something that can find all days.
                      It's fair place:
