Nice pouch and all the wide belt straps are made with what appears to be "ersatz" Italian "grigio verde" webbing strap material .
So to me more likely post Italian armistice (Sep '43) production with captured materials, as done with uniforms.

Not ersatz but totally normal italian web,captured after 43 and reused for german equipments .
Some were also made with italian green leather parts !
