I have found this appended sling on a camo helmet Luftwaffe M42.
I'm think as the man use for camo also ....
What is this for a sling ?

Something Political as it has an RZM Stamp, so nothing Army or Air Force.

Many Fallschirmjager early model g masks have this type of clasp,marked RZM.
All parts of this sling belong to a Fallschirmjager gas mask's bag strap.
