Unknown compass

There is a compass, marked "A" and "1945" on the back. Can anybody identify it? Thanks in advance for your help!

Mate,

Marked 360Degrees and I think 6000mils.

Could it be Russian or certainly Eastern?

Thanks mate, IMO it really could be Russian, at the 180 degrees it is marked "ю" for "юг" which means "south" in Russian...

100%Soviet. I had the same ones.
There is also the "3" for West visible.
