Breadbag, is it late war ? Early BW? NVA ?

Regarding the breadbag, remember the DDR was only founded in 1949 and the NVA as late as 1956. Police or border police use who preceeded the NVA is perhaps more likely then.

I'm with legionario..the shape makes the difference. The one varsity shows has the same shape as war time BBs but with post war materials. This one has same materials as war time but the shape is rather square. Would this be post war with WWII era parts or WWII but not Wh or only very late simplified production??
