      Not German WW2. The German shovel covers were always covered bottom and were never riveted. This cover can be pre-war.

        Could be WW1, I have pics of riveted ones, here is one with double rivets, any faded maker markings?

          I found an inscription in Russian , written in pencil " РАШЕВ"
          still have their inscriptions but I can not read them.

          What does this mean?
