Hello, I just received this tropical A-Frame. I am new to fieldgear, but after actually handling this, I am very comfortable that this example is original WWII . There is a makers name and date...but it really cannot be read clearly. Do other folks agree with me on this one...it never hurts to get a second opinion? Thanks in advance!

Thanks
All,
Thank you for your replies. I too had the concerns about the uneven wear. Photos can only show so much...nothing beats a hands on look. All buckles have some form of rust on them. Just happens that the one side is a lot worse than the other...this is also reflected where the metal meets the webbing. yes, there are "Stiffeners" inside the webbing...tough to describe what they look like. Thanks again.

IMHO frame looks very good...
