M44 Breadbag

Your thoughts on this breadbag? It is constructed differently than other M44's I have seen. This one has hooks for the outer straps instead of being buttoned down. Also has no middle strap; never did. Inside looks typical.

well.. hard to say... - but this stamp is a czechoslovakian army depot stamp IHO.....

He probably means a k98 cleaning kit Model 34. (Reinigungs Gerat 34)

I have seen these once before. How desireable for collectors are these? How are they priced when compared to other breadbags?

Paul, if you mean M44 breadbags in general, I believe they are fairly rare, and priced accordingly at $100 and up. This particular one is constructed a bit differently, having 2 hooks instead of button down loops to attach it to the belt. Anyone else have pics of M44 breadbags they can share?

Here some pictures of mine... I don't know the value of it.. I paid aprox 30 euro for it no too long ago....

I also don't know how rare they are, but I doubt that the M44 breadbag has seen much service, since the order to simplify the breadbag was from november 44.....
