It looks the leather belt in the auction has the same markings like your webbing one.....

I'm with Mike here,

whilst i agree that the item that started the thread is not a period German item, originals can and will be found with leather tongues, and with this style of reinforcement stitching.

It's a typical production trait of wartime German webbing.
