Paire of skis

What do you think about this pair of skis. It seems that the original green band is under dark green paint.
Are they used by gebirgsjager during WWII ?

Bonjour Pissance,

What you have there is a pair of Army flat land skis (cross-country skis) that could be issued to any type of troops. I have a pair but my toe binding is missing the front catch.





Gebirgsjägers usually used Alpine type skis.

Hi,

somebody offered me a pair of original flat land skis with the original overshoes. They are in a good condition but not as nice as the pair in this topic. Would 150 euro's be a good price to pay for these?

Hi,

today i received this pair of skis with overshoes. They are almost the same as the pair listed above. The difference is that this pair are fitted with a iron eye at the tip of the ski. There is stil some white camo paint visible.

Thanks! Yes they have the 42 date. There is nothing wrong with your eyes
