Markings of gasmask

Hi. Do you all know what the unit markings on this gasmask are? Is the fist number the regiment?

Also I assume the big W on the bottom is just the initial of the guy's name or does it mean whermacht?

In my opinion is "W" like Wolczik (name)

The numbers on the can are just identification numbers to match the mask to the cannister (read user)

The masks are cleaned sometimes and taken out of the cannister... this way a soldier knew exactly what his mask was
