    Dak boots e-stand

    Currently on E-Stand DAK BOOTS

    I was about to purchase them and sought an opinion from a advanced DAK collector who advised that the boots look like reproductions (1970's era), they also mentioned the seller removed the link to the discussion thread from the listing.
    Possibly the seller can post some more detail photos of the boots
    Other opinions welcomed

    These are indeed (famous) repro shoes made in 60's or 70's. As the story goes these were made from genuine parts ("Schwelbe" marked toe plates, sechs schlagig hobnails- period but unusual for earlier tropical footwear, good canvas etc) on period plant for collectors market.

    If You check this forum archives You find few thread which clearly shows details of disparities between these and period shoes.
