Either you guys should do it right and try to find more prove for your assumptions or just let it be.
I just can't take such lists serious anymore when out of the first three makers I'm looking at, 2 are wrong.
You got SSM right, bravo.
The town AEM.A was located in is Annweiler not Annweil.
MN is completely wrong. Just do a forum search if you want to learn something.
I didn't go further into the list, how reliable could it be after such a bad start.Comment

After having read the last posts to this topic I think it´s time to present my new "research tool"...
It is the 1940 Edition of the
"Deutsches Reichs Adressbuch , of the Trade and the Industry"
It represents something equivalent to the "yellow pages" you will find today.
People were able to search and find suppliers and / or producers of anything that was available in the german reich back then..
So let us start looking for...hmm..let`s say Feldflaschen for example...
OK here we are...on the pages 12,70, and so on..we are supposed to find suppliers for Feldflaschen...Comment

Some of you my fellow collectors might even be tempted to translate These in
their mind into their possible three letter maker marks...
chances are that we can see here makers such as ...
