    Wow! That's a 'real' tropical pair if I've ever seen one!
    Are you sure it's 1939 dated? Hardware looks of a later version (grey paint etc.), but I could be wrong. I like the Lüneschloss 'Trifos' logo!
    Nice you showed us two of the best known makers of WH equipment. Out of interest I visited both industrial sites some years ago. The Ewald Lüneschloss plant has totally disappeared, but the Franz Brehme one is still there, now home to 30+ families in a very nice housing project. Brehme firm is still in business just outside Walsrode, now selling security equipment for police etc. No more nice leather equipment...

        Yes, I'm sure.
        It is 1939.

        Maybe, this element is from old warehouse stock.
        At any rate all seams are original.

            Gentlemen, I guess I'll never be a photographer...

            For what it's worth, as promised, here are some more pictures of my early set. It's not in mint condition, but it's still in kind of a natural brown colour. Not easy to find, that's for sure...
