Personal torch - info help?

Hi all,

I have a find which I have had for about one year. It is a DAIMON personal torch with original battery included. I have included pictures. My questions are 1.) how common is this item?, 2.) if I had to value it, what would it be?, and 3.)was this a Wehrmacht or Luftwaffe item?

Any help is appreciated - I really have no info on this item. It is in great shape with little rust/corrosion. Original bulb, battery present, colored sliders on obverse (green, blue, red - left to right). No special markings except for the name DAIMON at top of sliders on obverse.
