Sutterlin Writing on Rare Zeltbahn Pattern

I can't read Sutterlin script. What does this say? It is on a near mint RBN marked complete Zeltbahn. I have posted the subdued sides side by side on two different zeltbahns for comparison. What pattern is this refered to?

    Thanks.

I don't know about the writing Jeff, but the color difference looks like typical variation to me. I have about a dozen zelts, and some have this darker color. Seems like someone once told me (Jan maybe?) that the darker ones have been treated with water proofing, and the lighter ones had not.

I don't know about that Harry. Looks like a whole different pattern to me.

This is not Sütterlin. The writing seems to read "Mitläufer Versuch" in 'normal' script, with some hint of Sütterlin in the 'a's and 'u's. Don't know enough German to tell you exactly what it means though. Mitläufer = the 'joiners'; the 'go along' crowd, Versuch = attempt; the two put together = attempt at assembling a posse???

                cheers,

Nothing special I guess, I have field made gloves in splittertarn in the same colour tone.
