P.38 Holster Normandy Cammo

I just bought a camouflaged P08 holster from the estate of a vet. My question is what is it worth compared to a regular holster?

You can tell 1940s paint from 1950s paint? I just am honestly curious if there is a definite way to tell?

The wear marks on this holster appear to be heavy in the correct places. If a family member did in fact get a hold of this holster and paint it, they sure did use it a lot, which I see unlikely.
