    Heer boots with 3 straps

Here are the boots I mentioned for Manny. They are in nice condition, and don't appear to have been worn much. They're dated 1935 and marked to a Panzer unit. I picked them up a long time ago because I have photos of SA school personnel wearing this style--apparently after the military rejected the design, the existing examples were used at SA and possibly NSKK schools.

I hadn't really thought about selling them. As you can see on my SA collection post, I have a school uniform, which is why I picked up the boots.
            I'll ponder that!

              Hi Erich,
thank you so much for posting your pictures!Don't jump into conclusions too fast buddy....as I have told you in the other thread these boots don't show very often in picture but were used up and I'll post a picture of a few Pioniere(don't recall if they're in France or Russia...quite "late"then!)wearing them with M24 grenades held by the straps!
The NSKK boot you're referring too is the exact copy(the other way round would be more correct!)of the LW tropical boot with wrap-around flap and belt-and-friction buckle closure!
              Hope that helps!
              Manny

Very interesting, Manny! Have you seen closeup photos of the boot worn in sport schools with a friction buckle? I'll check my photo albums to see if I can discern the details, but it's usually hard to see boot details in period photos, as I'm sure you know!

I could have bought a pair of "all-leather wrap-arounds"last May, but all in all they "only"were NSKK Motorraderstiefel, therefore I passed on them!
Yes,I've seen several pictures but since they're not"combat footwear"I didn't pay too close an attention and I couldn't tell you where to look for them!Whatever...as soon as one of them will cross my path I'll post it for you!
