Congrats!!

That is very nice! Complete with patch cord. Even the Pruftaste button is of a different colour material to the usual. All in, a beautiful set. Cable roller & zelt too!

I dont know about the maker mark, but pretty sure ARK is for Arktic. I have seen a few "usual" type phones with the marking.

hard to find in any condition.

Mine has unfortunately some damage to the case but all metal parts are painted in Einheitsfarbe. Even the crank handle is yellow and most metal parts are riveted to the case.

what is the going rate for a tan FF33?
me and a friend have one each exactly the same as your one Tom in the same condition with the ink "ark" stamp and tan fittings on the case!!
we bought them a few years ago now but he is now selling off his whole collection and wants to know a fair price to ask for it?

I just found a tan FF33 today!

I bought it in a lot and I thought it was a normal one until
I saw the inside!

It has a very simple design and a very simple marking, only "44".

What is the going rate for one like these? I have no clue
because I can't find any other for sale!

I have two of these tan FF33. One stamped rsm(Hagenuk since 1944) like Tom´s and one with nothing -only the white stamp B.A.H. 10/VIII. I think, its something like: "BauAufsicht Reichsluftfahrtministerium BAL)

BauAufsicht Heer or a "Abnahme" stamp of the manufacturer it´s possible. If anyone knows what B.A.H. means, please post it here!

Ark means for cold conditions use like eastern front in russia. There were also special batteries for deep temperatures delivered with the FF33-Ark.

That tan (Einheitsfarbe) FF33 are late war production and rare. Some could be build in 1945 if there is no 44 stamped in. But its difficult to find out that, because there were no markings inside for secrecy. -only on some capacitors were some stamps like "for example 8.44" -means August 1944. -But that is not sure -parts from 1944 could be built in at some FF33 at the year 1945. There were many suppliers of single parts and many parts would be in stock of the manufacturers for month and years.

The metal parts of my second tan FF33 were in 3 tan tones and 1 grey tone. They used everything what was available in late war.

Th¡s is my first reply to a thread.

Now I´m the owner of several wehrmacht linesman nachrichten equipment like 6 FF33 of several dates, one RB post war refurbised, two klappenschrank zu 10 Ltg. both with Amtzusatz to dial and other like a verlegung karren f. feldfernkabel that was used in Spanish Army until 90,s.

I´ve been looking for some info about late war production shortcuts in FF33 but this is the only reliable images that I´ve found.

The reason of this is that I´ve adquired a FF33, prx 1944E marked, black painted, and I wanted to confirm that the absence of side protection plates is something usual. I also can see in the thread photos that in two of the FF33 also the batteries case cover have a cut and bend to lift and in the last one there´s only one pin to lift instead two. Would you know about a reliable source that confirm those infos?. And what about other cover sistem to lift that I´ve seen in a one of my fiends FF33 like a curved wire of 3 mm diameter welded to the cover? what could be its origin.

Other question. Like I say I´m new and I would need a place of confidence when I could upload my collection photos to ilustrate the threads. Some of you know one preferably free ...?
