    Why I collect fieldgear..

    Hi all,
please forgive this hugely self indulgent thread, but today (with time on my hands) i had the chance to shoot some of my fieldgear as i would prefer to have it displayed.
Normally my tunics and equipment never meet each other as they are stored away in different areas. Plus, i do not have anywhere near enough space to put the stuff, so this was quite....therapeutic .
I did some mental financial calculations as i was going, and the results were rather frightening to say the least....
Here he is, my late war soldat (only one tan leather entrenching tool carrier to finish him off needed!). As ever, he would be dressed with trousers and boots, if only the trousers were larger than a catwalk supermodel .

    Hope you like it,

    Patrick.

    PS .all ordnance is INERT!

I think I thaw a Puttycat !Those straps are quite familiar, aren't they!Great set up Patrick...I love it and only one mannequin is VERY therapeutic.........it forces you and dress it with a different uniform on a weekly basis....at least that's what happens to me...and I'd pay a grand just to know what people think when they see a forty yo man dancing on the balcony with a very tall "Afrikaner"while his girlfriend(mine, not the Afrikaner's)watches amused !

                      'Grats matey

Now.........let's all post our mannequins and peacefully"invade" Patrick's thread.....his ordnance is not live anymore!

                              Sean,
i will never tire of seeing your stuff . You have possibly some of the finest uniform setups to be seen in the whole of the UK.

                              Manny,
superb ensemble . And i see a tan gunners pouch on the wall too .

Here is my latest work in progress, one i haven't shown before, a Flak NCO. I have a pair of straight leg trousers to go with this also, but....my mannequin with legs is still at a friends house. My mannequin hell goes on.
Get these men Golden wound badges .

                              Patrick.
