actually my favourite items are fury backpack straps - they are on the far right - thats the only web straps for fur pack I'v ever seen in 13 years of collecting...

one infantry straps are dated - 1942 Wittkop & Co Bielefeld (common marker for straps and backpacks... and belts..)

love those webbed buckles of Yours !! - I cant finde one like that..
also these camouflage smocks are just amazing.... !!!

Hello all,

After what feels like an age, i find myself posting in a thread i started many moons ago....

The reasons for this are many,but foremost has been the sheer cost of items i would wish to add to my collection.

The current market prices have now reached the point where i find it almost impossible to justify the huge outlay of cash to add to my collection,and as such i am no longer a habitual poster.

In any event, here is perhaps one of the last things i will add to my German collection.

Congratulations to all posters, you have some simply magnificent items that you have shared with us .

Mark, that DAK buckle that you keep putting up as 41 dated and no maker mark is a "Gustav Brehmer". You will find the "GB" monogram stamped near the catch. I should imagine it is a very faint stamping on yours but it will be there.

On the 40 marked buckles both the date and the monogram are stamped under the prongs but for some reason on the 1941 buckles they put the date under the prongs and the "GB" by the belt catch. Gustav Brehmer buckles are one of the most comman tropical buckles brought back from WW2 by New Zealand soldiers. Many coming from North Africa with web belts.

The maker I would like to see is "N&H 1941" with web tag. If any one has one and could post a picture that would be much appreciated. In New Zealand, the N&H tropical is hard to find
