Fake eagles, look as if they are applied with a potato stamp...
IMO these gaiters are Belgian Gendarmerie/Rijkswacht, used up until the 1970's.
Can be found on every flea market in Belgium.

Indeed a fake stamp. These kind of leggins were used by police, fire-brigade, gendarmerie,... in Belgium. But also civilians used it in Belgium, France, Germany,... Every man who drove a horse would have a pair of these. They are very common, you can find them for 1 - 10 euro.Comment
