    Hello friends

Two months ago I bought this paddle holster (presumably German) but not if the WW1 or WW2. There is no markings or waffenamts years. ¿What you think about it?. thank you very much

I did not know that the DDR also made leather covers for shovels as WW2. I think my cover is too battered and worn to be of the DDR, but hey you are the experts and are the best. Thank you very much friends.

They did not make simular ones. The main difference is, that Wehrmacht ones are always closed at one side, so you cant see through them, like here (frame-style).

Wrong statement in book - and postwar wrong construction (e.g. rivets) carrier with added fake markings...

I only viewed the top picture due to all of the pop-ups from that site but either the photo was reversed or the buckle was on the wrong side. I don't think it was German, that same shovel pattern was used by several different countries, could belong to any of them.
