German phone - WWI or WWII?

Well, it's rather only a part of a phone. What model is it? Is it WWI? Or later? Or WWII?

It is marked W. Gurlt GmbH Berlin and serial 43620

    Thanks in advance!

IF i'm right i'm sure it's WW1, the pins on the line and the way it's made sure gives it away. it also looks to be from a ship?? due to the rotating cup for the mouth.? i really like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          Thanks Greg!

I think the cup is a common feature for those earlier models. Here are 3 WWI pictures, taken in the ordinary ground lines, not ships, all have the cup. I asked about identification of this handle, because the handles on the pictures are very similar, but yet have small differences.

First picture, Bulgarian officer in 1917 or 1918., the Balkan front /Greece and NMacedonia/. Similar handle with a wire to be hanged on hook and with a cup for talking, but the phone wire enters the handle in a different waym hat part is not the same like on my handle.

Second picture, from 1916. I think this is a standart picture, a kind of postcard for the soldiers.
Similar handle, the cup is retracted. Very similar, but the shape of the speaker part is a bit different and the frame that holds the cup is a bit different.

Last one, a Bulgarian officer dedicating a picture of himself to his brother, the Southern Balkan front, 24 february 1918. The whole unit is seen here - the phone in an wooden bow with different holes for plugs and wires, and the handle. The cup on the handle is extended, however unfortunately not many details are seen.

I knew I had more phone pictures But these are from... from.. maybe the 20's? Training somewhere in the fields. Handles similar to mine, plus phones, plus phone central and even reels with wire. Full equipment!

                    Hello guys.
I was wondering if anyone can provide some data about this german WWI phone, for the cavalry scout patrols. Any pictures, technical data???
