Please don't mix oranges and apples. You are comparing them to another model, that are not even Wehrmacht issue but private purchase. They have a leather sole and a second sole made of rubber.

I know there were german WWII boots with rubber sole but that doesn't mean that all the boots that have a rubber sole are german WWII made... Your boots have ALL the sole made of rubber, so it makes me think in post war making.

How about if they were some ultra rare winter FJ boots? They had rubber soles. Could they be for aircraft bomber crew? It is not an easy thing to say. Someone might have an original WWII era pic of some in use but till it shows you can only say 'it looks like' some other boots.

            Hi guys,

Please, let me chime in here.
Giving the overall look of the pair that started this thread, I think we can safely say that these are not standard-issue winter boots. At best, these are period.

Whether they are private purchase pieces, civil boots, or boots from a foreign army, I do not know.

            Best,
            Vincent S.

              Thanks Vincent,

That's what I was trying to make Schvim understand but he keeps on comparing to other boots that nothing have to do with these, only because the might have a minimum similarity. If her wants to believe they are original german WWII, it's up to him, but will be very difficult to prove.

First boots are post war boots and second boots are orignal german boots from WW2.

Is that what you thought ?
