            I believe it is post war made.
            Did it come from eastern Europe?
            Weak construction carrying sraps, lack of stamping, mint zelt material and what looks like artificial rust where there is leather.
            I have seen similar in pea pattern camuflage, also seem like post war made production.

            Any pics of it in use?

            Where exactly did you get this one?

              Very nice piece! I own several similar rucksacks – the problem with these items is that you can not for 100 % clarify when they were made. Maybe they ware made during the war by the troop saddler, maybe they were made by POWs, maybe they were made after the war for civil use.

                could you please tell what do you want from eastern europe ? and why do you suggest it was made in eastern europe ?

                IMO it was made in Germanyin post war period for civil use ( made in near the same way the late war backpacks were made from all avaible pieces ).

                it is well made by good craftman .
